Tennessee Baseball Pitcher Chris Stamos Catches For 1-6 Triple Play | Watch
Tennessee pitcher Chris Stamos combined with Vols shortstop Christian Moore to complete the rare 1-6 triple play in the top of the seventh inning.
Tennessee baseball pitcher Chris Stamos made an incredible catch to help turn a 1-6 triple play against OU baseball in the top of the seventh inning at the Shriners Children's College Baseball Showdown. Oklahoma hitter Jaxon Willits attempted to bunt, but instead popped the ball up, forcing Stamos to leap for the incredible catch.
After the initial out, Stamos tossed the ball to Tennessee shortstop Christian Moore, who tagged second base and then tagged the baserunner, completing the 1-6 triple play.

Just a moment before the fantastic play, Stamos was forced to change gloves due to the discoloration on his original glove. The pitcher ended up with a bright turquoise glove that was not his own, but Stamos made the play nonetheless.
The rare triple play is Tennessee's first since 1997.
